Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Bridges

What is a dental bridge and how does it work?

A dental bridge is a fixed restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth. It is anchored by neighboring healthy teeth or dental implants, and a prosthetic tooth (or teeth) is used to fill the gap—restoring both appearance and function.

Are Dental Bridges Long Term Solutions?

Yes, with good oral hygiene and routine dental visits, dental bridges can last between 5 to 15 years or longer. The materials used and how well the bridge is maintained will impact its longevity.

How do dental bridges help better my oral health?

By filling the gap left by missing teeth, dental bridges prevent surrounding teeth from shifting, which helps maintain your bite and jaw alignment. They also reduce uneven wear on nearby teeth and promote long-term oral stability.
